Matthew has been part of the funeral industry for just over two years, following a 35-year career in the automotive finance sector.
As Location Manager, he brings together all the elements he is most passionate about: leading a small, dedicated team, supporting staff in achieving their goals and ensuring families receive the highest level of care during their time of need. "What makes my location so special is without any shadow of doubt the glorious, the beautiful, the talented and the professional, caring staff."" Outside of work, he loves working with his hands, weather he's building something from beautiful timber in his garage or cultivating a thriving veggie garden. Cooking is another creative outlet, especially when he has a fresh, healthy recipe to follow and all the ingredients ready to go. He has competed for Australian and State swim titles and has played rugby with the WA State squad.
Fremantle holds a special place in his heart, its vibrant cappuccino strip. diverse cultural community, maritime heritage and of course, the beloved Fremantle Dockers.
