Ashleigh Pilcher has been a valued member of the Purslowe & Chipper North Perth team for five years, bringing compassion, dedication, and a deep personal connection to her work.
Her journey into the funeral industry began in 2005, when Mareena Purslowe arranged her grandmother’s funeral, a service that left a lasting impression and inspired her to one day provide the same level of care to others, ‘’ I knew I wanted to return the compassion and care shown to our family during a difficult time and be part of a respectful and unique brand.”
Ashleigh values the continuity of care that defines the Purslowe & Chipper experience and finds great purpose in crafting bespoke, meaningful farewells for every family she supports. “I like ensuring all family members involved are acknowledged and heard during the arrangement process. I also like creating a bespoke and personalised service for each family, to really reflect the life that was lived.” She has developed a particular expertise in Italian Catholic and Orthodox funerals, honouring cultural traditions with sensitivity, respect, and meticulous attention to detail. Her commitment to personalised service and thoughtful guidance is at the heart of everything she does.
Caitlyn has been a Funeral Director for three years, having entered the funeral profession through an administrative role before discovering her passion for supporting families. She considers it a profound privilege to walk alongside people during some of their most challenging moments, ensuring every service thoughtfully honours, celebrates, and reflects the unique life of their loved one.
Outside of her work, Caitlyn is deeply involved in the Perth dance community, both teaching and continuing her own learning. For the past seven years she has performed in various shows across the city—an experience she values for the creativity and balance it brings to her life.
Caitlyn is proud to serve the North Perth region, appreciating its rich history and the generations of families who have shaped the community she now supports with care and dedication.
Rebecca has been part of the funeral industry for almost two years, bringing calm, compassion, and gentle guidance to every family she supports. With a background in banking and retail, she carries forward strong skills in communication, empathy, and customer care.
Drawn to funerals from a young age, Rebecca is committed to helping families navigate loss with dignity and warmth. She finds deep purpose in creating personalised, meaningful farewells and in offering steady support from the first call to the final goodbye.
