Purslowe Funerals and Chipper Funerals have come together to bring more than 235 years of combined experience caring for families. The Midland funeral home gives families a welcoming place to celebrate what life meant to their loved ones, and we opened our doors as Purslowe & Chipper Funerals in December 2017.
Our funeral home is located across the road from the Midland Gate Shopping Centre and is proudly serving Midland families and the communities of Midvale, Bellevue, Hazelmere, Koongamia, and Viveash.
Our Midland team can help bring your family together to arrange a funeral service that truly celebrates and honours the life and values of your loved one.
Values – we all hold them dear. Some drive us, some inspire us and they can say a lot about us
Our experienced funeral directors can help you arrange any type of funeral that celebrates your loved one’s life. You may wish to hold the service at:
Following the ceremony, you may choose to bury or memorialise your loved one at Midland Cemetery which is a 10-minute drive away from our funeral home.
Parking is available on site, at the adjoining chapel and across the road at the Midland Gate Shopping Centre.
The team at Purslowe & Chipper Funerals Midland are with you every step of the way, keeping you informed and guiding you through the arrangements as much or as little as you need.

I have been in the industry for almost 20 years in various roles.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy the gym, spending quality time with family and friends and precious time with my partner.
Are there any special community groups you work with or support?
I am passionate about Breast Cancer Care WA. More recently, I joined Inner Wheel and am enjoying the good work and camaraderie this organisation represents.
Purslowe & Chipper Funerals supports a range of community programs designed to help the young and old alike, as well as hosting memorial services and informational seminars.
We are members of your local social group, sporting club and church. We're as proud of the support we provide to community organisations and programs as we are of the care we provide to families.
Preplanning your funeral makes sense. A prepaid funeral takes the emotional stress off your family, locks in your funeral cost at today’s price, and allows you to plan things your way.
When you're organising a funeral service, one of the first decisions will be whether you are organising a burial or a cremation. This choice will directly impact the type of funeral service you will have.
In the Book of Ideas, funeral directors have shared some of their stories of how families have honoured their loved ones, so that you can draw inspiration for your own funeral arrangements.
