What do you enjoy about your job?
Being able to be there for our families and to guide them through the funeral process is rewarding for me. It can be a tough industry to work in, especially when dealing with all kinds of emotions and degrees of death. I am grateful and feel blessed to be selected as the new face for Dianella.
How long have you been location manager?
In 2018 I was fortunate enough to become the location manager for Dianella which will be an amazing new opportunity to showcase the Purslowe & Chipper brand in a brand new shopfront location.
Having lived in the Bedford area for the past 19 years, I am looking forward to meeting the local business owners and various communities within Dianella and surrounding areas that I have supported over many years.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
I am not one to sit down and relax in my spare time, especially as I have the joy of two sons to look after.
Recently, I became a civil celebrant so am looking forward to performing marriages.
I have also started a small business with a colleague crafting small ornamental reflection trees. They are looking pretty sensational and I'm looking forward to seeing how they are received.
Our waiting area consists of a coffee table and two armchairs.
We have two well-appointed arrangement rooms with seating for up to 8 people.
There are 10 parking bays available.
For the elderly, there are no steps from the carpark and into the building.
For the disabled, the building and amenities room is accessible for wheelchairs.
There is also a viewing room and a coffin cool room.
Purslowe & Chipper Funerals supports a range of community programs designed to help the young and old alike, as well as hosting memorial services and informational seminars.
We are members of your local social group, sporting club and church. We're as proud of the support we provide to community organisations and programs as we are of the care we provide to families.
Preplanning your funeral makes sense. A prepaid funeral takes the emotional stress off your family, locks in your funeral cost at today’s price, and allows you to plan things your way.
In the Book of Ideas, funeral directors have shared some of their stories of how families have honoured their loved ones, so that you can draw inspiration for your own funeral arrangements.
When you're organising a funeral service, one of the first decisions will be whether you are organising a burial or a cremation. This choice will directly impact the type of funeral service you will have.
